  • Section 1: Understanding Psychosocial Disability in the NDIS

    Here we give an understanding of important terminology, communication skills, the role of Exercise Physiologists and Exercise Scientists in the NDIS, as well as understanding some of the fundamentals about chronic and complex mental health conditions.

  • Section 2: The Role of an EP or ES

    Here we will review the types of NDIS goals a Participant with Psychosocial Disability might have, and as Allied Health professionals, how we might tailor our treatment recommendations for these clients.

    We will also walk through clinical reasoning in a selection of severe mental health conditions.

  • Section 3: Assessment + Reporting

    Here we walk through the essential components of assessment and reporting - understanding effective communication, the essential components of reports and use some examples of how we justify the treatment plan we have laid out for our Participant.

  • Section 4: Case Studies

    Here we will review two case studies of Participants with a Psychosocial Disability - and the way that EP’s can approach these conditions
